Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

DBT, based on CBT, has been adapted for those who feel extremely intense emotions, and is often used for those dealing with PTSD. In DBT there is a focus on mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and emotional regulation.
