If you were not a therapist, what other career would you choose?

I find the field of neuroscicne fascinating! I am intrigued by the connection between our brain, nervous system and the mind. I continue to learn more about the advances in this research and integrate various modalities into practice.

What is your general philosophy and approach to helping? Are you more directive or more guiding?

I help people to honor their stories. Our story can be a foundation upon which we grow or it can be the narrative that holds us back or keeps us stuck. My approach to helping is to provide a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental space for clients to explore their chapters.

How do you see your role as a therapist in your client’s lives?

I provide a grounding space where clients can show up and know that they will be supported regardless of what is going on outside of the session. My goal is to provide hope, clarity and allow clients to feel seen, heard and understood so that healing can occur.
