If you were not a therapist, what other career would you choose?

If I weren't a therapist (which is hard to imagine because I love it so much!), I think I would have a career in either interior design or digital marketing. I love the creative aspects of interior design, but I also love the analytical components of digital marketing!

What is a treatment modality you are passionate about?

I'm extremely passionate and well-versed in EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I love this approach because it is not a lifelong commitment to therapy. This approach connects your present day struggling to the past experiences where they started.

How do you see your role as a therapist in your client’s lives?

My role as a therapist is to help guide you on the path to healing yourself. You have all the answers inside of yourself in order to heal, and my role is to help bring those to light through the use of trauma-informed therapies like EMDR.
